Lavender Orpington  $13

Orpington’s were originally developed in the 1880s in England.

This dual-purpose breed is making a comeback after a spell on the watch list! They have a heavy carcass, and lay plenty of pink to light brown eggs. They are extremely quiet, its hard not to step on them in the hen house since they are always under foot looking for goodies or just saying hi.

Our hens and roosters are lavender color, with bright red combs and very winter hardy. The perfect breed for the family farm! Many of our chicks have grown up to become farm kids little friends!

Mottled Ameraucana  $14

This is our fifth year with Mottled Ameraucanas. They lay beautiful blue eggs. Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee the egg color of the chicks you purchase from us. Trust however that we only incubate the bluest eggs to ensure the truest color possible each generation.

This is a new breed for us and is a new (unrecognized) PROJECT color variation of the Ameraucana breed. Please keep in mind that we are still in the development stage of our breeding program so there will be color variation in the chicks. Some of our hens are completely mottled with a thorough mix of white and black feathers while others are black (splits). Please see mottled color genetic chart in photo albums if you want to go down the genetic rabbit hole.

Our roosters are black mottled and lavender mottled. The resulting Ameraucana chicks will be a fun mix of the following colours black mottled, black, lavender, & lavender mottled.

These are a beautiful, eye catching breed with wonderful dispositions, cold weather hardy, and the colored eggs are the icing on top

Chocolate Ameraucana  $14

This is our sixth year with Chocolate Ameraucana’s. Our foundation hens came directly from Perry Schofield in 2019. In 2023, we added new black Ameraucana genetics to strengthen our chocolate colour and increase the genetic pool; these resulting new roosters are in the breeding group this year, 2026!

Our chocolate Ameraucana’s lay beautiful blue eggs. Unfortunately we are not able to guarantee the egg color of the chicks you purchase from us. Trust however that we only incubate the bluest eggs to ensure the truest color possible each generation.

This is a new breed for us and our hens are only the 11-12th generation as a new (unrecognized) color variation of the Ameraucana breed.

Please keep in mind that we are still in the development stage of our breeding program so you may see some color variation in a percentage of the chicks. We are working hard to continue developing and strengthening the genetics of this rare color. This is a very special project that you could be part of, another opportunity to brag about your flock!

Black Copper Marans  $15

Marans are an active, dual purpose breed developed in France in the 1800s.

We have been breeding Black Copper Marans since 2020. They lay the most beautiful dark copper to mahogany-colored eggs. A fun surprise for your egg carton!

Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee the egg color of the future hens you purchase from us. We do our best to only breed hens laying the darkest of eggs to the roosters that have hatched from dark eggs. This is only our fourth year with this breed so we are still in the development stage of our breeding program. We are routinely bringing in new stock to try and keep the color genetics strong. Our hens lay between a 5-6 on the egg color scale Keep in mind that the more eggs your hens lay, the lighter the colour will be as the pigment runs low.

Black Copper Marans are a farm favorite and a passion project for me!

Welsummers $16

Welsummers are a new breed for 2026!

They are known for their curious personalities. Most times when I am feeding or cleaning the barn, I look over and one is sitting there examining me, seemingly wondering what I am up to. This dual purpose breed originated in the village of Welsum, Netherlands. Fun fact, they are the inspiration for the Kellogg's cornflake rooster!

With this group I am strictly focusing on speckled eggs! The more speckled, blotchy, and unique the better!

Silver Laced Polish  $13

Our entering into the Polish breeding world started two years ago with my mom saying “what are those?!?” Followed immediately by “we need those!!!”

The Polish breed is believed to be from Holland (where Polish birds show up in paintings dating back to the fifteenth century). Our polish chickens are calm and friendly but they sometimes startle easily as their feathers can interfere with their line of vision.

Our polish are silver laced. Johnny Depp is a proud rooster! They are a friendly and curious breed that lays a steady supply of nice sized white eggs.

Gold Laced Wyandotte  $14

This is our third year with Gold Laced Wyandottes. Our original breeding group came directly from Perry Schofield in 2022. In 2025, we added a black gold laced rooster and blue gold laced hen from Wild Acres.

This breed is named after a Native American tribe - the Wendat - indigenous to parts of upstate New York and Ontario, Canada. The breed was originally developed by a group of four breeders in the 1870s.

Our Gold Laced Wyandottes lay beautiful big brown/pink eggs. They are a superb dual purpose breed with good egg production. They have the most incredible feather pattern - golden bay colour surrounded by ornate black lacing. They are docile and thanks to their rose comb - they are very cold hardy.

We are so excited to be able to offer this breed for the 2026 chick season!

Silkie  $16

Silkies are an ancient breed from Asia. One of a kind, they have a melanotic gene that results in bluish black skin, bones, and meat.

They have mulberry bluish black combs, turquoise earlobes, and silky soft feathers.

Silkies are docile, great for kids, and very entertaining with their quirky personalities. If you want a breed that makes you smile, silkies are for you. They are great mothers - sometimes they think your chicken population should be bigger than you think it should be

New additions for 2026!
Our hens are black, blue, chocolate, mauve, splash, and chocolate splash

Our rooster is chocolate splash

Wheaten Olive Eggers $20

My love of wheaten olive eggers started several years ago, I sat on a waiting list forever until I finally decided to be brave and start my own breeding group from scratch! Thanks to some lovely wheaten ameraucana and wheaten marans breeders who helped me get here! I am one of only a few breeders in Canada offering wheaten olive eggers and this is project I am crazy passionate about!

These wheaten colored roosters and hens are stunning, better yet they have proven to lay beautiful green eggs - sometimes with speckles and bloom! I can't wait to see where this project goes over the next few years!

                           Important Info

Our chicks do not leave the brooder the day they hatch (often two days later). The hatching process is stressful for chicks, we like to make sure they are healthy and thriving before they leave our farm. That they have all ate, drank, and rested before they begin the exciting journey to their new home!

Unfortunately, we do not ship chicks, pickup at farmgate only.

Our chicks are fed medicated chick starter.

Our incubators and chicks are housed separately from our mature birds for bio security reasons.

We do occasionally sell hatching eggs - when we have extras that do not fit in the incubator. If we have extras for sale they are posted weekly on our Facebook page.

Preferred method of ordering is by private message on our Facebook page.
